Bang Sue: The New Transportation Hub of ASEAN

Bangkok is rapidly expanding. The city’s outskirts such as Nonthaburi are bound to have major project developments that will drive and fuel the economic landscape of Bangkok and Thailand as a whole.

Bang Sue, an up and coming neighborhood located between Chatuchak and Phayathai district is predicted to be the next gold mine or Bangkok’s new CBD center. Bang Sue is connected via MRT Blue Line, the Purple Line at Ban Son station, Tao Poon station and BTS Green Line Mochit station (4.1km). The six major stations cutting through Thailand are Nakhon Ratchasima, Pak Chong, Saraburi, Ayutthaya, Don Muang and Bang Sue. Experts from the Department of Land Transport has expressed that this monumental project will not only stimulate investments in the area, but it will eventually transform Bang Sue into ASEAN’s transportation hub.

Bang Son MRT Purple Line station is 850m walkable distance and the future SRT light red line will be completed in 3 years’ time. What’s more special is the Bang Sue Sino-Thai rail station which will be built directly adjacent to building, making this a transport hub with a high rental or buying opportunities. The outcome of the Sino-Thai rail is anticipated to increase the population growth due to the potential flow of tourists and customers travelling through the city.
